This project arose a way to support a local cooperative of women to set up their own outlet of ayurvedic products. As a brief, they required a dismountable architectural device (within a very modest budget) to be installed in the corner of an open lobby, in order to offer affordable medicines and extend referral care. This women-led community healthcare device, was therefore proposed as an openable box which not only provided a great degree of accommodations to its users, but functioned as a public-space furniture piece.
