> A STORY OF INCOMPLETE INFRASTRUCTURES
By leveraging existing infrastructural dynamics, we proposed to enhance the existing urban conditions in Koundampalayam through strategic operations, which would evolve by agency of citizen involvement and design flexibility. Harnessing existing processes, to improve road-network connectivity, socio-cultural capital, activate public infrastructures in the neighborhood. An overarching agenda was to achieve a more eco-friendly, dynamic, and inclusive city model: we proposed a test run of a decentralized neighborhood plan that is scalable and accentuates existing properties to maximize its intrinsic values in different projective futures.
