ANTI-HURRICANE HOUSE

This proposal is set after the contingency of hurricane IOTA, which deeply affected several settings of the Caribbean and especially the island of Providencia. As part of our recurrent collaboration with Sergio Trujillo Arquitectos, we proposed a low-budget house for rapid construction, which utilizes efficient and ecologically-responsive materials that can eventually respond well in the event of future hurricanes. Its operable components allow changes in environment relationships, as well as progressive growth for alternate economic or social activities.
