GYAAN ASHRAY
> THE KNOWLEDGE SHELTER
The ‘Gyaan Ashray’ was a way of supporting community initiatives by agency of light infrastructures. It emerged as part of a winter school programme, which proposed to build a pop-up classroom along with the students and in close contact with the leading members of the local community. A public architectural device constructed with minimum resources and energy, that maximized infrastructural impacts; in this case those of an educational, political, and cultural kind.
