MADHYAM

> THE INTERMEDIATE NETWORK

This incremental architectural system relied on the coordination of processes of cooperation between refugees and farmers. It functioned as a networked infrastructure capable of mediating different scales of action: between rural dynamics and urban demands, between pre-existing issues of ownership and future possibilities of construction, between stages of instability and structural violence on to equitable and peaceful organizations. ‘Madhyam’ or, the Medium, serves as an adaptable infrastructure that mediates different economic and cultural networks in a cohesive and empowering manner.
