TEHBAZARI FUTURES
> THE CONNAUGHT PLACE EXPERIMENT
In the heart of Delhi's Connaught Place, Tehbazari Futures sought to reimagine hawking spaces as a potential field of innovation. The project explored the liminal zones of corner shops and pavement niches of CP, uncovering their capacity to transform public space; by mapping existing typologies and studying material possibilities, we designed a 1:1 prototype that merged colonial architectural elements and ad-hoc spatialities into a "future tehbazari." Installed at the Dhoomimal Gallery, the intervention question the condition of public architectures as something in between the temporal and the permanent, the informal and the formal: pocket-sized disruptions that can inspire broader, scalable urban transformations.
